sun and moon - part II

I was playing with the idea of a dominant sun as the biggest and maybe most important item in our galaxy. Only, when the sun goes down, the moon finds a place at the sky (you can see it in my painting as the sun-reflection on the sea).
With my draft I wanted to illustrate this idea. Besides I tried to get a connection between the romantic scenery (dusk at the sea) of my draft and the fact, that the symbol will be used for a photographer.




Also according to the idea of a dominant sun, I tried to illustrate in my second draft, that the energy of the sun (in my draft only implied at the bottom) is the reason of the shining moon. This draft is a lot more abstract and symbolic than the first one.
